GREENVILLE, North Carolina. Wiz Khalifa doesn't seem to be letting a drug arrest ruin his appetite, although East Carolina University police would probably tell you his appetite was artificially enhanced. The 22-year-old rapper, whose real name is Cameron Thomaz, was arrested early Tuesday morning along with 10 others, when his tour bus was raided by East Carolina University police after officers smelled "a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the bus and the backstage area of the auditorium" where he'd performed, spokesperson John Durham said.
Durham said the officers questioned Thomaz about the smell and asked to be allowed on his tour bus to look around. Thomaz has not been exactly circumspect about his marijuana use; in a recent interview he boasted of a $10,000-a-day habit and recently released his own brand of rolling papers, according to MTV News, so perhaps it's no surprise that he cooperated with the police and let them on the bus.
What they found amounted to more 60 grams of pot, according to Durham.
That's the equivalent of about 2 ounces.
Thomaz was charged with a felony count of trafficking in marijuana, a felony count of maintaining a dwelling/vehicle/place for sale or storage of marijuana and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomaz and his manager each posted $300,000 bond about 11am according to Thomaz's Twitter account, and his first post after announcing his release was about getting the rest of his groups out and grabbing breakfast.
So what was on the menu?
"cheese eggs pimp," according to his Twitter account, and it apparently worked to soothe away the events of the night before because his next tweet read "everything's [sic] better."

What the hell
PHOENIX -- Members of a neo-Nazi group had to be escorted by police as they marched through downtown Phoenix today on their way to rally in support of anti-immigration efforts. Protesters in opposition to the neo-Nazis blocked streets and tried to disrupt the march at a number of points along the way. Phoenix police officers in riot gear were forced to use pepper spray to disburse the protesters, who were throwing rocks at the marchers and at officers. The marchers were headed to the Federal Court building at 400 W. Washington Street. Protesters blocked the marching route at Jefferson Street at 8th Avenue and refused to leave when ordered to by police. Police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson said no serious injuries were reported and two individuals were arrested for throwing rocks at officers. They have been identified as 24-year-old Bryan Reavely and 23-year-old Dane Edward Rossman. Both face aggravated assault charges. In recent years, members of the Neo-Nazi group known as the National Socialist Movement have held a number of marches in Arizona in support of tougher anti-immigration efforts.

Young Money
Lil Wayneis back!
Weezy is free at last! Lil Wayne, who has been behind bars for eight months for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, was released early this morning from New York City's famed Riker's Island prison. The hip-hop icon, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was sentenced last March for attempted criminal possession of a weapon. Wayne admitted to having a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun when his tour bus was stopped shortly after a New York City concert in 2007, and he pleaded guilty to the felony charge. Wayne will be flying high for a minute, but he has some unfinished business in Arizona. The multiaward-winning artist was spared time in an Arizona jail under a plea deal stemming from his 2008 arrest at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint in the state. The rapper's tour bus was stopped and searched by Border Patrol authorities after they said they were alerted by a drug-sniffing dog. Agents found nearly four ounces of marijuana, an ounce of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and a .40-caliber pistol registered to Carter.
